Rick Moranis, Bill Pullman and Mel Brooks are back. Josh Greenbaum is directing and Josh Gad has the lead role and is co-author and producer. I hope that goes well. Keke Palmer was cast as well.
That gives me even more hope.
I’m not sure it would even be worth trying to see without him as dark helmet. It would be hard with without Pullman, but a good enough script could maybe pull it off. But no dark helmet or scroob means no spaceballs.
It would just be a bunch of Assholes in space ;)
