I’ll try to post this regularly.

I’m about to get a proper caretaker. We just have to figure out how much I can handle per week? month? Anyway, some help for my wife with regular cleaning will be nice.

    I have managed two days of work since being sick with some flu and general just extremly bad days for a moth. So that is nice.

    I also managed to save a old beautiful but very heavy sewing machine from the trash and will put it on display by my typewriter and maybe fix it. It was very heavy but I managed to carry it. I’m proud of that.

    Awesome news on the caretaker, our partners have to do so much and I know how heavy it can lie on our consciences. Is your insurance / health system helping to pay for it?

    I submitted all my FMLA intermittent leave paperwork today. This is a triumph because it’s the first time I’ve ever properly admitted to the wider world that I’m not just going to get better if I figure out x or y, or if z doesn’t happen, or a million other wishful thoughts.

      Is your insurance / health system helping to pay for it?

      Yeah. I don’t fully understand which entity exactly. There are so many that handle different stuff. I’m lucky to have my father and my wife handle all the paperwork. It’s complicated enough for two healthy people. No idea how one sick person could do it. They have to fight the entire way. I think I’m still not getting everything I’m eligible for.
