I thought rogue one was an excellent movie but I always had a grudge against it for taking Kyle Katarn absolutely out of the picture in regards to retrieving the death star plans
Just make your own head canon. You can watch Andor and R1, play Jedi Outcast, and read the OG Thrawn Trilogy. That’s what I do. It’s all made up anyway.
They werent even trying to hide it either.
Jyn Erso? Seriously? Just keep her real name, Jan Ors. Thats the most “at home” character naming laziness I think I have ever seen.
Thats like calling Kylo Ren “Darth Shmader” lol.
Well you see, when Disney bought Star Wars, they took a look at all the amazing EU stuff and said “nah, we don’t need any of that!” and promptly threw it in the incinerator.
And then realized they actually did need all that stuff and have been bringing it back with extra steps, and worse lol.
I’m slightly on the young side for FMV games, but Jedi Knight and Command & Conquer were childhood staples that shaped my tastes in so many weird ways. JK is up there with the original trilogy for “Star Wars that is good and I care about.” Katarn is easily the coolest Jedi.
Mapocolops played through Dark Forces II recently and it was incredible watching those FMVs again that blew my mind as a child. I will always love Kyle Katarn.
However… the level design is absolutely wild! I have no idea how I got through that game as an 8-year-old!
I sometimes still have nightmares about those aqueducts and fuel tubes!
Hell yeah! Played those games so much. I remember even duelling online with a classmate. Was great
