The multimedia platform of the European Parliament is the official public available repository of the media production of the Secretariat of the European Parliament, managed by the Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM).

Would be great if the EU parliament uploaded this kind of stuff to their peertube. I think it is published under a CC license, so somebody could upload it to peertube themselves @StopKillingGames

I’m actually surprised at how many positive voices were heard. The only really negative voice was Axel Voss. IIRC that dude is stooge for the big publishers and will try to kill any progress on copyright law grounds.

At 11:53 is C. Vieira from the Dutch Greens (I think) who had comments filled with references to games. Very entertaining to listen to. Hopefully there are more like her in the ranks of supporters.

And Axel Voss (you might remember him from when he pushed for Artikel 13) wasn’t even able to voice any concerns he just asked a question which they could easily answer.

tldw: He asked about secondary licenses in games like for music. The answer was that these licenses only apply when selling something. Since this is about preserving games that aren’t being sold anymore those licenses don’t apply.
