I’m about to get my 27 inch dsktop PC monitor mounted to an arm for usage in my bed. But my monitor doesn’t have any speakers built in so I need something for that. Preferably under 100 €.

Do you know anything? I want to play games and watch the occasional movie. It has to be controllable either from the PC or via a remote, as I most likely won’t be able to reach it comfortably. Turning it on and setting the volume once would probably be ok.

The hardest part is that I need something I can either mount to the monitor or the monitor arm. I have a hard time seeing whether that works with what I have seen online.

And it’s hard to judge sound quality online. I’m used to the Steam Deck. So anything that sounds all around well should be good.

Do I need to care for positional audio emulation? Or is that done in software nowadays anyways? I don’t want to mount additional speakers behind me. Stereo should be enough.
