This is a tricky one. Some posts stop loading comments for me. I just see the throbber for eternety. Trying to reload the affected post adds a second throbber for the post that never goes away.

It might be related to my own comments. I’ve seen it start after making my second or third comment under a post. The comment seems to take forever to get posted but looking in the list of all of my comments it actually does get posted. But clicking on it just shows the post taking forever to load the comments again.

The web version of Lemmy works fine, as do other apps like Voyager. When I first encountered this issue I was on the Github version of Summit. After switching to the F-Droid version I could open the previously affected posts without issues. But after a while it happned again.

Has anybody else seen something like this?

Are there some logs I could find?

Edit: After waiting ~20 hours I can suddenly access the comments of this post again.

Edit 2: As a workaround I can just completely shut down Summit and start it again.

Can’t reproduce it with my comments. Maybe they are unrelated.

Funnily enough it actually did start to happen after sending the comment I am replying to.

I’ve had the same issue of being stuck loading when I click a comment from my profile that was a comment to a comment. This one is fine though.
